Mat lives in Marrickville with his husband, two boys and dog/child, Rocky. He worked in the arts and not-for-profit sector for over 10 years before shifting gears. He is a passionate community activist, with a particular interest in the local environment, promoting arts and culture and fighting for LGBTIQA+ issues and for diversity.
